Willy's Pies is gaining nationwide attention with expertly crafted pies, born from a decade of restaurant experience and a deep understanding of flavor balance. Committed to using quality, seasonal ingredients, they’re proving that pies are more than just comfort food. SAY AYE TO A PIE.
Willy’s came to us in a strong position. What started as a business launched during lockdown had grown into a thriving food delivery operation. From "The Shed" in Netil Market, Willy’s served Londoners and businesses across the capital. But it was time to level up.
Despite strong demand, Willy’s was relying on third-party delivery services, limiting their reach. With exciting collaborations on the horizon, they needed a solution.
Together, we built a Shopify-powered e-commerce platform to give them more control. It was clear from the start that Willy’s is about more than just pies. With collaborations across industries, catering for top-tier brands, and backing from ex-Arsenal star Ian Wright, they needed a site that could match their growing reputation.
We crafted an experience that showcased all the exciting things happening in Willy’s world. In addition to film and digital photography shot on location, we developed an art direction system that was easy to maintain while making their pies look as delicious as they taste. We opted for clean, minimalist layouts, allowing their pies to shine, and a bold typeface that mimicked their signature ALL CAPS Instagram captions—bringing that same energy to the site.
Since the launch of their new site, Willy's Pies has expanded into new territories, becoming a supplier for Ocado, The Emirates Stadium, and Fulham FC's Craven Cottage. They've also accumulated over 1,200 direct-to-consumer orders through their Shopify platform.
