SAY AYE TO A PIE.
SAY AYE TO A PIE.
Project Description +
Willy's came to us in a very good spot. They'd successfully built a business founded in the depths of lockdown after being furloughed as a chef; to an established food delivery titan.
Serving Londoner's from "The Shed" in Netil Market, and businesses large and small across the capital; it was time to take the next step.
Although the demand for their pies was undeniable, Willy's were being forced to leverage third party delivery services to sell their pies; boxing them into a small delivery radius. They didn't have the technology in place to sell themselves; and with exciting collaborations on the horizon–that needed to change. Together, we built a brand new Shopify e-commerce experience that did just that.
It was clear from the offset that what these guys were doing was so much more than pies. Collaborating with businesses both in their space and afar; catering events with brand names of serious weight; and not to mention being backed by the one and only Ian Wright. We wanted to create a dotcom experience that gave them the ability to shout about all that's going on in the world of Willy's.
In addition to the film and digital photography that we shot in person, we created an art direction system that was easy to maintain; and made these pies look as delicious as they taste.
Coupled with the clean, clinical beds (this is food after all), we chose a typeface that shouted Willy's Pies at every angle. Known for their ALL CAPS Instagram captions, we played into that across the site.
An enormous thanks to Will, Josh and the Willy's Pies team. This one was a pleasure from beginning to end. Nice one fellas.
